March: Shouting Out & Showing Off {St. Patty's Day Edition}

Okay friends, there are two orders of business for this post: shouting out and showing off!  :)  Let's start with showing off some St. Patty's Day Products of mine... and click on the picture to go check out the party with Mary at Sharing Kindergarten!  (Well, actually I was too late to link up.  But you still should go check it out!)

Freebies first (everyone's favorite!)  Don't forget to grab my St. Patrick's Day Lucky Lacing Cards if you haven't yet...

And my Sensory Table Shenanigans Freebie!  There is practice for upper/lowercase letter recognition or CVC by medial sound sort.  Check it out!

Now for some super new products I am super excited about!

I just finished my Who Took the Gold from the Leprechaun? Differentiated I Spy Activities.  There is a Letter/Letter Sound version...

And a Dolch Sight Words version!

AND I'm throwing a sale right now so you can get these goodies for a great price!

Now it's time for showing off!

I am super excited to introduce a new bloggy buddy that has less followers than me (and I don't know why!): Casey from Keeping Up with the Kindergartners.  I absolutely ADORE her blog, which is full of great ideas and great products.  Check out some of her great St. Patty's Centers!

Ooooh CVC word spelling!

Shamrock Subtraction!

And now for a blog that has more followers than mine!  Now you'd probably have to live under a rock if you don't know about Marsha McGuirre from A Differentiated Kindergarten.  But seriously my friends she is such an inspiration to me.  She always has great ideas and is very generous with her creativity (check out her St. Patrick's ideas and freebies by clicking on the image below).  She inspires me to think outside of the box and try to meet the needs of my PreKinders in multiple ways.  Sometimes I wish I could borrow her brain for a day (or every time I sit down to plan my week!)  :)

That's all my friends!  I can't decide if I'm jealous of all my snow day buddies or not.  It was almost 60 today which was great, but I sure could use an extra day to get some stuff done (not the least of which is more St. Patty's products in the works!)  Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday tomorrow!  :)  By the way, don't forget to stop by this weekend for my...

There's No Place Like Space: Outer Space Adventures & Friday Freebie

TGIF!!!  What a week!  I absolutely adored seeing my kiddos learn about space, but this week was a toughie.  Sick and tired kiddos do not make for a happy class.  Everything kept going the wrong way: food spilled on the newly cleaned carpets, bloody noses on the newly cleaned carpets, bathroom accidents during the middle of centers, pink-eye working its' way around the room, forgotten materials at home, the printer at FedEx Office went haywire and messed up my play-doh mats, the copy machine at work broke, I broke the side mirror of my car coming out of the garage... Yikes!  I was seriously scared to leave my house this morning!  :)  So here's hoping the stars re-align this weekend and my class comes back rockin' and rollin' and ready to learn on Monday!

With all that being said, it was still a fun and jam-packed week.  I loved overhearing one of my kiddos tell his parent, "Mom, did you know the sun is ACTUALLY a star?!?!"  And I got to test out another new …

Holiday Customs & Belated Friday Freebies

Saturday is here and Christmas Break has begun!  Well, in my case it's a 4 day weekend, but I'll take it.  I confess I am very jealous of my peers right now that get a two week break.  But I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a good break, and I can't wait to see the exciting stuff you create!  :)

What a busy week it has been!  Between practicing for the Holiday Song Program, doing the Holiday Song Program, recovering from the Holiday Song Program, I'm not sure how we accomplished anything at all!  But accomplish we did, and largely thanks to you, my wonderful fellow blogger teachers!  I am so thankful for the great resources you make and share, they were a lifesaver this week for sure!  Here's a look at our week of Holiday Customs Around the World:

Happy Friday!  Er, Monday?  Well, originally I was going to post this on Friday but I had no time (big surprise, right?) so here it is on Monday!  Here's a peek at our fun Families unit from last week, with a few freebies for my bloggy family!  :)
